I appreciated the friendly staff and the hotel's picturesque garden area, but the outdated facilities and ineffective air conditioning really put a damper on my stay. The breakfast had some good options, but overall it felt a bit disorganized and lacking in essentials. Plus, the noise from the traffic outside made it hard to relax at times.

Rooms
5.0
My room was disappointing. The décor was dated, and the furniture had definitely seen better days. The cleanliness could use a serious boost as well, especially in the bathroom where mold was apparent. On top of that, the air conditioning failed to cool adequately during the hotter hours.
Service
5.0
The staff members were friendly and welcoming, which was a bright spot. However, there were issues when I approached them with problems; their responses sometimes felt dismissive rather than helpful.
Location
5.0
The location is decent for visiting nearby archaeological sites, but it's not the best if you don't have a car. I found it a bit noisy at night because of the traffic, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.
Dining
5.0
I enjoyed the breakfast, even though it could have been better organized. There were good options, but I found the coffee situation frustrating since I could only have one cup without asking for more.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities need a lot of attention. The elevator was slow and often skipped floors, making it inconvenient to navigate the hotel. The gym and cooling systems also did not work as well as I hoped they would.

My stay at the Panorama Hotel was quite disappointing. The location is great for exploring nearby archaeological sites, but the facilities left much to be desired. There were issues with the air conditioning and some cleanliness concerns that overshadowed my experience. The breakfast was also underwhelming and not as satisfying as I had hoped.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was cramped and outdated. The bathroom wasn’t adequately maintained, and it felt like it hadn't been properly cleaned. That really took away from my comfort.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, I encountered some arrogant attitudes when issues arose. The staff's responsiveness to complaints didn’t meet my expectations.
Location

The hotel is well-located for visiting local historical attractions, which made exploring Syracuse enjoyable. However, the traffic noise from outside made it hard to relax.
Dining

Breakfast was a major letdown. The offerings were limited and not very satisfying, with items running out and slow service adding to the frustration.
Facilities

There were maintenance issues throughout the hotel. The elevator was a bit erratic, and some areas felt like they needed a thorough update.

6.6/10

My stay at the Panorama Hotel in Syracuse was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the location is fantastic for exploring archaeological sites, which I truly appreciated. On the other hand, the hotel itself felt outdated and in need of maintenance, particularly the bathrooms and elevators. The air conditioning was another issue, as it stopped working overnight, making for some uncomfortable nights.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was small and quite dark, giving off a somewhat dated vibe. I noticed that the furniture was worn out, and the bathroom had cleanliness issues that left me concerned. Overall, it didn't meet my expectations for a four-star rating.
Service
6.0
I found the reception staff to be helpful and friendly, which made checking in and addressing concerns a bit easier, despite the issues I encountered. However, I felt that management could have done more to address the maintenance problems I faced.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was a highlight, situated conveniently near some very nice archaeological and historical attractions. It made exploring the area a breeze, which I greatly enjoyed.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a bit disappointing; while there were some good options, the overall organization left much to be desired. I was surprised by the limited options available, especially when it came to coffee refills. It could definitely be improved.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities at the hotel felt outdated, particularly the elevator which had a strange tendency to skip floors. The air conditioning in my room was also noisy and ineffective, making for uncomfortable nights during my stay.

6.8/10

During my stay at Panorama Hotel, I encountered a mix of positives and negatives. The location near archaeological sites was a major plus (perfect for sightseeing!), but unfortunately, the hotel itself felt quite outdated and in need of maintenance. Although the staff was friendly, I experienced issues like a malfunctioning bathroom and a disorganised breakfast service.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was rather basic and had an unpleasant smell when I first entered. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, very dirty, and not well-maintained. The air conditioning was noisy and only worked sporadically, which made for uncomfortable nights.
Service
5.0
The reception staff were generally helpful and friendly, which helped improve my experience despite other issues. However, I found the management's response to some complaints somewhat lacking, particularly with the water supply problem I faced.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is fantastic for exploring the nearby archaeological park and historic attractions, but the area could be quite noisy at times, especially from traffic. Plus, I found that having to drive or taxi to get to restaurants and shops was a bit of a hassle.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast offered was pretty good in terms of quality but often ran out of items quickly, leading to some disorganization. I had to ask for basic items like croissants, which shouldn't be necessary in a four-star hotel.
Facilities
5.0
There were some useful facilities, like bottled water availability and responsive management to a degree, but overall, the hotel could use some upgrades and better organization to match its advertised rating.

My stay at Panorama Hotel had its highs and lows. The location was perfect for exploring the archaeological sites, providing easy access to historical attractions. However, the hotel itself is quite outdated and in dire need of maintenance. While the staff was generally friendly, my experience with the breakfast and room amenities was disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
The room was overall clean, but had outdated furniture and some issues with the bathroom that definitely needed addressing. Additionally, I faced some noise disturbances, especially from outside traffic, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.
Service
6.0
The reception staff was helpful, assisting with my inquiries and providing directions when needed. However, some interactions felt less pleasant and could use improvement, as there were moments of indifference from certain staff members.
Location
8.0
The hotel sits conveniently between Ortigia and the Archaeological Park, making it easy to explore these very nice sites. I appreciated the proximity to local attractions, but the noise from the street could be bothersome, especially at night.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast had a good selection, but the quality declined as certain items were unavailable later in the morning. On the whole, my experience felt a bit disorganized, despite the staff's friendliness.
Facilities
5.0
I found the facilities like the elevator and air conditioning to be below expectations—there were peculiar behaviors, and the air conditioning was noisy, often stopping at inconvenient times during the night.
